Soy marinade: how and with what to use

For almost a year now, you can buy marinades for meat in our stores. One of the most popular is soy. It can be used with any type of meat, but it works best with pork, chicken, and turkey. How to use the marinade for each type of meat is described below.

 

Pork marinade

When you have no idea what to cook at a picnic, you can always try our soy dressing for pork ribs instead of barbecue. It helps to make every bite juicy and savory. You will need:

  • 2 kg pork ribs;
  • 350 ml soy marinade;
  • 1 kg of young potatoes;
  • greens (parsley, cilantro or dill).

Cut the ribs into pieces, place them in a large bowl and add the marinade. No pepper, salt, or oil, everything is in the finished marinade. Let the ribs stand for 1.5-2 hours.

In the meantime, light up the grill. After the charcoal has burned out, cook the ribs on the wire rack for 30 to 60 minutes (depending on the size of the pieces).

Advice. Save the marinade left in the ribs bowl, we will need it later. To add even more smoky meat flavor, you can sprinkle a few drops of water over hot coals.

While the ribs are baked, wash my new potatoes, wipe them dry and wrap them in foil. You can also not give spices, because a young potato itself is quite aromatic and salty. Put the finished balls on the coals and bake for 15-20 minutes.

When you notice that the ribs are already a little baked, brush the base with the remnants of the marinade. This will help create the desired crust.

You can check the readiness of the ribs thanks to a small cut along the bone: if the meat does not have red blood cells, the ribs can be safely tried. Baked potatoes, which can be cut in half, sprinkled with olive oil, and sprinkled with herbs for flavor, are the perfect accompaniment to these.

 

Marinade with chicken

There is nothing more pleasant than gnawing on the bones of chicken wings, the meat from which is easily torn off by separate fibers. Mmmm, juicy, tender, and savory. To prepare these wings you will need:

  • 2 кг крилець
  • 300 мл соєвого маринаду

Before marinating the wings, wings, and the bowl in which you will marinate, be sure to wipe off excess moisture. Even if you’ve washed the wings (although you shouldn’t), they should be dry before marinating.

Next, pour the soy marinade into a bowl to wrap around each wing. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 1-1.5 hours.

Then preheat the oven to 180 °C and turn on the grill + convection mode. This will cook the meat well and give it a crispy crust.

Advice. Spread the wings out on a baking sheet so that there is space between them. If the wings are too close to each other, you will not be able to achieve a crispy crust, because the meat will be steamed, not baked.

Leave the wings in the oven for 30-35 minutes and taste them while still lukewarm until the crust crunches.

 

Turkey marinade

A turkey, like a chicken or pork, is difficult to spoil because all that is needed for this meat is the right dressing, which will help not to dry it out but to make the meat juicier. Soy marinade is one of those perfect for white meats. For example, for cooking a mini barbecue in the oven with turkey fillets. To do this, you will need:

  • 1.5 kg turkey fillet;
  • 6 tablespoons of soy marinade;
  • 10-12 wooden skewers.

Cut the fillet into pieces, always of the same size, so that each of them is evenly roasted in the oven. Put in a bowl and pour in the soy marinade. Then with a spoon or better by hand, mix the meat for 10 minutes. This will help the marinade absorb better and make the bites tender.

Meanwhile, turn on the oven at 180 °C. While the oven is heating up, put the pieces on the skewers so that they touch each other.

When the oven is warmed up, put the skewers on the wire rack and bake for 25-35 minutes until golden brown. If you still have some marinade leftover, you can grease the turkey with the leftovers while baking to create a crust. You can savor a kebab with any side dish or as a separate dish.

With what and no matter how you use soy marinade, it will certainly make the meat more juicy and spicy. After all, this is the whole secret of soy sauce. No wonder this is the main sauce of Asian cuisine, where pork and chicken are so popular. This is the best addition to meat, which only improves its taste.
